This is what makes us love the hills. Not bad for a sunset picture, eh? We arrived back here a little over a week ago and started work the next day. After two months of doing what & when we wanted, we were pretty pooped after 3 days. I know, whine, whine!!While working last Friday we had about 200 bison cows and calves on the front lawn of the visitor center. We had people walking up the back road and entering through the side door which is seldom used. It was necessary to have our rangers there most of the day, as the animals are more predictable than the tourists. This is our 6th year here and we had never seen the cows and calves in this area before. It is a rarity.
